Hey, since we already have a conversation on law firm salaries, I thought it would be great if we could know the pay scale for an in house counsel in companies. It'll be great if pay scale in reputed business houses like Tata or Reliance could be shared.

In house salaries are as under:
0-1 year-6.50 Lakhs
1-2 years- 9.60 Lakhs
2-3 years-12.50 Lakhs
3-4 years- 16.00 Lakhs
4-5 years- 20 Lakhs
5-6 years- 24 Lakhs
6-7 years- 28.50 Lakhs
7-8 years- 35 Lakhs
8-9 years- 42 Lakhs
9-10 years- 50 Lakhs
10-15 years- 90 Lakhs

This is as accurate as it gets.

This might be true for leading corporations. But mid and small companies would be paying far less. And some FAANG companies may be paying far more.

But please consider CTC, its not the same as retainers in law firm. so considerable money gets deducted in taxes, etc.

This isn’t a firm. It’s a DaaS company, well funded. Incorporated on the west coast, and have a sub in India. I am dual qualified and that probably helped getting the job. Not sure what’s so funny.
