I am a graduate who will be pursuing my Masters in Law from an abroad institute on a fully-funded studentship/scholarship. Since I have been privileged (and lucky) enough to not have to worry about financing my master's, I am considering applying for Doctoral Studies in Law (and possibly, MPhil, time and funding permitting).
Having gone through Doctoral Programmes and MPhil/MRes listed by multiple universities, I feel daunted by the Research Proposal aspect of the applications, which are indisputably the most important part of them. I am unable to understand how does one begin the process - especially, choosing a topic that allows one to write a lot, while keeping the focus narrow.
Therefore, I wanted to seek opinion from those in academia about what should I do to craft the best possible Research Proposal for my applications (per my abilities and limits). Thank you!
