I had joined an engineering college in 2021 and felt that engineering is not what i wanted to do and dropped out to give clat in March. After attempting, I secured a 3000+ rank. Should I attempt CLAT '23 and drop another year?

I genuinely worked very hard and failed to accomplish what I set out for.
Committed some blunders in haste and under pressure to attempt as many questions as I can, and thus the negative marking drowned me.
If you're not feeling confident about it from the get go, there is no harm in moving on to something else.
Law is nice, but it isn't the be all end all.
