We've all been receiving messages from Vahura, Avimukta, Adept, etc about lateral moves. But not all of these recruiters are competent at their job. Who are some recruiters you've worked with and how was your experience?
At one point was talking regularly to one of those you've mentioned. The people handling my CV were absurdly limited in their thinking and imagination. Lost count of the number of times they tried to make me settle for less. Thankfully I never did and ended up finding myself a fabulous in-house position - with no help from any recruiters. I also have interacted with several other recruiters via LinkedIn over the years and can only conclude they are good for plain vanilla law firm jobs, anything else you're better off trying to find contacts/ alumni/ even just reaching out on LinkedIn to the org yourself.
