If you look at the proposed bill then you will find that there is an annexure which contains the names of the universities where the chancellor has been changed. It does not feature NUJS. They have selected universities where the governor was the chancellor.
Lol. Dare Modi ji do this, civil war ho jata. But chalo, let her be.
Modi is already the VC of certain central universities like Vishwa Bharati. Get some education please.
I don't think Mamata will be Chancellor of NUJS. The law applies only to state universities. NUJS is a national university with special status, with the CJI as Chancellor.
I get the part that Mamta won't be the chancellor of NUJS. But please explain what the special status that NUJS has. in the eyes of law its only a state university set up under a state act.
If the bill says "all state universities in WB" then NUJS is definitely included. No two ways about it.
@1.1: The bill has not been published, yet our man seems to know which universities are on the list and sheeple readers on LI like his comment 🀑
Why are people saying that NUJS is excluded? The bill is yet to be introduced, so from where are you drawing your conclusions?
