played chess as a kid, last played at 14 maybe?
then with the entire chess.com hype, getting back into the game was fun.
It's a draining game tho, i always recall this Fabiano Caruana article in which they measured his calorie burn over the course of a tournament and he was burning 7000 calories a day!
I used to play a lot in lockdown but recently I have stopped playing all together as I have gotten over chess.
I dont know about enhancing critical thinking.... maybe it does. But its a great outlet to vent out.
Also is it true that chess helps in enhancing the critical thinking skills of a lawyer?
