So just as we expected. Musk has shown his true colours. This whole thing was always about normalising hate speech. The fact is that there is no such thing as "free speech absolutism". Courts all over the world, including in the US, have placed some curbs on free speech (clear and present danger test). If Musk thinks he will get away with this, he is mistaken. People are going to go to courts all over the world to demand a ban on the account. Although the US Supreme Court is filled with pro-Trump judges, there is a strong chance that the UK Supreme Court or the European Court of Human Rights will uphold the ban. Similarly, we can go to court in India and demand that hate speech accounts like True Indology should not be restored. Musk should also remember that consumers have a freedom of choice. If he allows hate speech back on Twitter consumers will ditch Twitter.
We'll collect them, purify them, and send them off to Africa, where they will be consumed by people who have no access to drinking water.
