I will obviously try not to walk into the place determined to hate it, but I am not a fan of Mumbai. It is SO. DAMN. EXPENSIVE. Plus, Delhi is a three-hour drive from my hometown. So eventually I'd like to shift to Delhi. Any idea how this works? Do firms have internal transfers policies (subject to availability, ofc)? Or is it just applying to any firms in Delhi that will have me?
If Delhi doesn't work out, I am considering Bangalore as an alternative, as I have tonnes of friends there and it is still cheaper than Mumbai.
Also, Mumbai being the financial capital, how doe the quality and nature of work differ between Delhi and Mumbai for GenCorp? Should that be a deterrent in a planned move to Delhi?
