Hi I’m a banking and finance lawyer but I still feel like I don’t understand most of the intricacies and don’t have intuitive understanding of it. Could someone tell me what to read up on to bolster the same?
Transactional work is like this only...through every practice area.

Once you get a hang of it, it's routine work.
Thanks for responding! I’m bored of marking up SPAs but it sounds like this might be worse :/
Please don’t switch. B&F as a practice area is extremely monotonous and it’s the same copy pasting work of loan documents, this agreement that agreement. Also, client retention and poaching is difficult higher up the ladder. I can vouch that M&A is much more interesting though haven’t worked personally.
Could you elaborate on what a regular day at work looks like for you? I’m contemplating switching practice areas (from M&A). I’ve obviously read up but personal accounts & anecdotes would be helpful. Thanks!
