It is around 70-80k per month but as far I know from a few people, it is mandatory to join as a trainee associate for minimum 6 months or an year before you become a full time associate. Trainees get about 25-30k during their traineeship.

Yes, they might not take you on sometimes. Happened to a friend of mine. But the possibilities of being retained are higher.
