These mentioned roads don't have apartments only bunglows and some rare penthouses
Health facilities are great
Getting an apartment for rent might turn out to be a challenge but it is worth it .
Areas like cp , Khan market are less than 25 minutes away . There is 200 acre forest(bonta)
Kamla nagar , du , old delhi are 2 minutes away . Civil lines is away from the hustle of South Delhi, a peaceful location with the best aqi in delhi. There is the building+exchange building) with luxury restaurants and bakeries.
Moreover civil lines offers more comfort for less than half the price compared to areas like safdarjung and GK
Mayur Vihar/ Jangpura have massive parking and security problems. Safdarjung, Lajpat, the GK's and Defence Colony offer affordable housing, mostly in lanes that are almost equally mediocre.
I visited Civil Lines rather recently after a Tees Hazari matter and was quite taken by what I saw - well paved, wide roads, low density condos, big plots, ample parking, upmarket restaurants and salons and ample green zones.
Here are some questions I have for those of you who live there or know people who do -
Q1 - Is Civil Lines safe for women and children? Do the LG and CM residences bring Lutyens level benefits for residents?
Q2 - How difficult is it to navigate rush hour traffic to and from the DHC and SC from Civil Lines (compared to Barapullah)?
Q3 - Does Civil Lines offer good nightlife? Is it "too far" from all that's fun and happening, like Khan Market?
Q4 - Can I expect a better Civil Lines apartment (2500 Sq Ft), in comparative terms (with the above-mentioned addresses), with a 70K/ Month rental budget?
Q5 - Are the healthcare facilities in Civil Lines reliable?
Q6 - Culturally - on the Cosmopolitan side or Dilli6?
Q7- Has Covid corrected the rents in Civil Lines?
