So Clifford Chance is among the top 10. Now, let's look at India. Would CAM or SAM be in the top 10? Would a CAM or SAM fresher from an NLU expect close to what a Meta or Credit Suisse fresher from an IIT gets? If not, then time to liberalise and get Magic Circle firms to India.

In India, Goldman Sachs pays far less than comparable positions in tier one law firms.
CAM and other Big 7 salaries are comparable to IIT tier 1 domestic salaries and IIM tier 2 domestic salaries. So I would say that Big 7 associates in India are comparable in stature to Magic 7 associates in the UK.
