Overall - Mumbai better safety for women, generally more chill city, people don't interfere, weed is available, more meritocratic.
MUCH higher rent and more congested, forget owning an automobile or a house for a long long time.
Delhi - less safety for women, more 'political', people tend to interfere more with personal life, no weed only hash available, not as meritocratic and more emphasis on relationship building (esp later in career). But real estate is cheaper, roads/infra better, can drive if you want to. Cost of living somewhat lower.
Bangalore offers the best of both worlds tbh. Other than the traffic, you'll be able to own a home and the city has a chill vibe and excellent weed.
Mumbai for Corp / finance / capital markets / securities work / tax
But ultimately you can do well in anything at either place. So no point stressing!
