So it shows we Indians have an inflated opinion of ourselves. How can we claim to have the "Harvard of the East", ahead of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan?
I am in academia in Europe (not as a student, just in case you were wondering), and I can assure you that Chinese students are miles ahead of students from NLS and NALSAR academically. Most Chinese universities mentioned here have foreign professors, does NLS/NALSAR have even one, let alone on a systemic basis?
You have not seen any in your bubble does not mean your anecdote invalidates the rankings. Sure, the rankings are not the gospel of truth but to say that NLS and NALSAR are better than HKU/Tsinghua is just a pile of bullshit.

Nlus are specialised autonomous law universities with all law faculties and student numbers in 300-1000.
Nlus are priceless institutions which could not be matched by any other university or institute anywhere in Asia
There is NO WAY that Chinese legal education is superior to India. China is a fascist state with a fascist education system that produces mindless slaves.
Also, if NLS is not on the list, then the list is flawed. Nagarbhavi residents, ex-residents, and their supporters will cancel the QS list as it doesn't recognise NLS as the No. 1 in Asia and one of the top three in the world. It's their way or the highway!
Jindal slipped 8 ranks from 70 to 78.
NLS slipped 100 ranks from 101-150 to 201-250.
DU, IIT KGP and JNU also made it to top 300 law schools mainly because of their research.
