Quantum does not necessarily mean good. Not everyone is running behind volume. Their salary at all levels are lower than their even T1 counter parts, which also shows their fixed costs are way higher.
Unlikely to be brought to parity in the forseeable future
Is the firm not aiming for pay parity any time soon?
Why does IP pay SO LOW? And why do people take up such low-paying jobs in the first place? Is it because of mere compulsion or genuine interest?
Is this also true for the litigation/ disputes team?
Does the IP team at KCO Delhi or Mumbai have any vacancies?
Ha IP boutique mein 7 baje ke baad kaam nahin hota hai, nahin weekend mein kaam hota. Nahin, lawyer billing ka kaam karte hai, nahin har reporting karte hai - kyuki unke paas paralegal ya secretaries hote hai, that also in adequate numbers. Isliye, zaroorat nahin hoti.
Yes, you are correct. I was offered that last year post my interview - rejected the offer and joined a Delhi based IP boutique firm with a pay of 55k and far better working hours. Works for me as rent and all is anyway lower than Mumbai.
Yes, exactly half. In the annual town hall, it was announced that the fresher salary is 130k/month. KCO IP starts at 65k/month for a fresher. So yes, its exactly half. I think a SA gets 130-140k / per month.
Is it true that the IP team at Khaitan (Mumbai) pays half of what is paid to other freshers in different practice areas?
