We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

I am a 2017 graduate and done with jobs.
Is there a life hack? I want to be free by 6 pm (max 7pm) everyday. Spend time with family, and maybe start a family. Is LPO work gratifying? Do they really stick to the schedule?
I don't need a lot of money. 1-2L pm will be enough. I don't mind doing 8-9 hours of work everyday. [Don't tell me that it is not possible for a human to work at their peak for 8 hours. It is my problem, and I will manage.]
I really need the Saturdays and Sundays off.
Should I join in house? or is academia the solution? I don't consider reading a task, academic or not. LPO?
Thoughts please?
