Beyond that there are other factors. For example, Delhi Is the best for litigation and Mumbai is the best for corporate law, but if you have a house in a city other than Delhi or Mumbai it may be worth practising in that city because you save on house rent. Also, places like Chennai, , Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Chandigarhare less expensive. Bengaluru to some extent gives you the best of both worlds. And one of the great things about Kolkata (if you belong to the elite class there) is that there’re some fantastic clubs over there, probably the best in India.
Now coming to work, pay situation is pathetic like you get less than what the office clerk is making; nature of work is largely confined to basic civil, criminal, tax though arbitration is picking up. It all revolves around your own client base = money you make, boss ke barosey toh ho gaya kaam.
I'm so confused to stay here or move to Delhi for litigation as the question remains how I'll build my client base there?
