GLC will never be irrelevant. It will definitely be an upgrade. But please consider the living cost before making any decision.
Seeing its downward trajectory, Will it still be relevant when i graduate in 2027? Or should I stick with my t3 nlu which shows no sign of improvement either
The only reason those people got jobs was because of connections and not year long internships. Glc has no takers.
Thats cute, all of them first gen kids. But okay stay in Delulu. We have Long Term Intern PPOs, Regular Internship PPOs and also Day Zero Offers.
Show proof of placement offers? Glc must be keeping a record of so many placements.
Cool, can you give proof of such placements? I'm sure with so many record placements they must be keeping a record of it like all NLUs do! Hell in my firm Luthra they took one glc grad only because her daddy was connected, but even then they just paid her measly 25k.
If you are from Mumbai then GLC is the best option you have. You dont need to pay rent to live in the city.
If i have to pay 2lacs. Per annum on renting and fooding won't that be a good deal given it's still lesser than any nlu (a t3 in my case)
2lpa for renting + fooding. That is just 16k per month. I would say your expenses are likely to be much higher.
Agree that GLC is overhyped. The ones who get top jobs from there are usually nepo kids.
Could you share insight into the standard of curriculum and whether it is at par with the contemporary law requirements (like nlus) Also, what is college life like? Does GLC have moot courts, platform for cultural exchange, etc.?
I stopped reading after you said most of your batchmates got jobs in tier 1. Lmao, itna bhi mat fek
Your use of the word "discrimination" in this context is unfortunate and disappointing, but certainly not surprising. It shows exactly how poor your teachers were.

GLC tha hai aur rahega
Ek din NLUs bhi GLC jaisa banega
The day that happens is the day that the Indian legal profession will be truely fucked, and not on the brink of being fucked, as it is now.
It's getting more irrelevant as years keep passing by.
GLC is relevant today ONLY because of itโ€™s ALUMNI
