1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

How is JSA expecting to hire or retain talent with these numbers? Am I missing something? Insiders, please help.
Assuming your
(a) Base retainer = 15L
(b) Bonus Cap = 5L (if you make 100% of it, again not easy at all in JSA and rare)
(c) Bill Share = 8% and assuming you bill 1 cr (not easy for an associate in JSA even if you are in the top performing team)
Then your annual CTC should be 15 + 5 + 8 = 28L
What you must know is that the billing share is entirely dependent on your partner bringing in enough business and staffing you on lucrative deals. Even if you bill 10 lakhs in a matter, but if your partner decides to shave off the invoice and consequently, only 5L of your time is billed, then you would get 8% of 5L even though you have worked for 10L. In India, it is pretty easy for law firms to shave off 30% to 50% of the invoice for the clients. Go open with your eyes wide open
Hope this helps.
