I sincerely request the seniors to advise me on what all I can do in next one year to become a "tier 1 lawyer". I am disappointed with myself and my career trajectory, and willing to give whatever it may take. Requesting sincere advise.
You'll stay behind the curve for atleast 2-3 years.
If working at T2 and getting less than your batch mates bothers you so much, just imagine how much will it bother you if you work on the same floor.
Either way - my comment is more on the lines for you to not worry w.r.t. your pay.

Tier 1 firms can be really touchy about these things.
Its better to be your own master and have mental peace and long term satisfaction then to be a slave!
However, if its the money (in the short term) you are after then good luck, and try to give your best!
Reconsider what you want. You want to be an Advocate? Or Tier 1 lawyer? Actually.. I think it is a bit too late. It's best if you try begging for jobs. Try cold calling or emailing. Maybe someone might oblige, and you would secure a job.
