I am currently an A2 (transactional lawyer) and really wish to join politics in next 15 years. I don't have any political background and can't leave the law firm job. How do I go about it? I seriously want it. Please no trolls.
This aspiration is commendable.

Transactional lawyer to politics would be difficult if not impossible.
Litigation or policy work to politics may be possible.
Hello. Thanks for replying. I know it's difficult. Will definitely appreciate some advise from experienced souls.

Anand Prasad (ex Trilegal, now AP&P) explored going into politics. He left Trilegal which he had co-founded, and tried his hand at politics but somehow couldn’t make it. Reading about him might be a starting point for your introspection. There are a few stories on LI and other places.
You can definitely join politics.Be the best M&A lawyer in the country and any political party would want to you as their spokesperson. If a doctor like Sambit Patra can be, then even you can.Be successful. You will figure it out.
