The NALSAR Academic Council agreed on Dr. Baxi's name for the search committee to appoint the next VC. Very interesting development.
Is it certain that Prof. Mustafa would have to leave?

Considering one has to be competent to be part of that team, your argument just backfired.
If they are your professors, you refer to them as such. They are my contemporaries and acquaintances.
Creator? Does he also have his Ten Commandments and occasionally shouts, "Let there be light!" when the power backups have to be switched on?
Grassroot level support doesn't count for VC-ship in another university.
No, my friend. Vivekanandan's supporters are everywhere in real life too for whatever reason. I can't quite put a finger on it, but he's got massive grassroots level support in HNLU and the petitioning for his VC-ship goes far and wide in those circles.
ATTENTION NALSARites

Don't be over enthusiastic and try to lobby for your alumni and other 'Foreign Degree Guy's'.

They will ruin your life in innovative ways. Just look at NLS.
How would those whom you named at first be shortlisted when they don't even fulfill the eligibility criteria? Quit talking nonsense.
Yeah, he will want to give up the reins of an institution with unlimited funds, resources and operating freedom in favor of cash-strapped places with government oversight.
When did Sudhanshu Kumar come in category of competent.

You are either sudhanshu himself or someone from dhandaa team.
What is this way of referring to Profs? Mrinal Nigam Rahul. Not your personal Whatsapp chat.
How alumni can impact high level appointments in NLUs?
Chill people, the powers that be have already decided who the next VC is going to be. You may try a student agitation like in NLSIU, but alumni support will be needed.
Why not C Rajkumar of JGLS? I am sure he will like the honour of leading an NLU and his admin skills are decent.
Don't forget the NLSIU alumnus who is the VP of a regional chapter of Vishwa Hindu Parishad now! He will keep all the urban naxals in NALSAR in check.
I hope it is Mrinal or Srividhya or Nigam. This will set the trend of NLU alumni taking over as VCs, which is much needed.
Mrinal has finished 10 as Prof, hasn't he? So might have Nigam. Both would make excellent VCs IMHO. I know of a few other promising ones, but they are still too junior. Had Rahul not been moonlighting with a firm already, he would have made another good candidate.
