Is there a team even left to move to trilegal ? A lil birdie tells me that most of them team quit thanks to a junior partner.
Eh? What team? Everyone has quit - they have 2 fresher associates in Mumbai and 1 senior associate in Bangalore. The real estate team in Trilegal is in for some major pain.
market is buzzing with the fact that the funds big boy is joining azb possibly with his team and would turn the market dynamics upside down. would be a real big one if that were to happen.
There was a reason behind the mass quitting in Group C and that reason will soon be arriving at Trilegal. Slow Claps
There is already one present there who is desperately trying from a long time to enter the MC and playing real Game of Thrones.
SKB and VB are great people to work with ! Congrats and best wishes to them.
Who, who, and who? This is not some Ashwath level departure at any rate.
Brother, Sai Krishna Bharathan is one of the biggest names in the market.
You mean half the leavers won't come back to AZB (because that's what happened with those who left with Ashwath)?
What has happened to Kian? Why has the website not covered anything in the last few months. LI owes its readers to explain why these things are not reported and what has happened to Kian? Pls don't censor this.
since everything is relative, some people will soon realize their work culture was not that bad after all...
How is this team to work for? From non Corp azb folks I've heard it's not as toxic as some of the other teams and may be the least rotten of the azb eggs?
All i would say is good luck to Trilegal Juniors. This team in AZB used to have the highest attrition rate.
SKB is a stellar lawyer, par excellence. Unfortunately he has lost his team, including PS, thanks to the other team mates. Huge loss to AZB no doubt, but it's a bitter sweet pill (as most juniors would put it). ;)
Musical chairs continues. Azb is now bleeding like cam did a few years back. Would not be surprised if they all land at cam after 2 years.
The end of AZB. When stalwarts like Sai leave. Wonder how much this has to do with the power tussle with the A Row.
A Row has no power so there can't be a power struggle bro. Sai stayed away from the power games and was busier building the practice areas he worked in. Wake up!
Very disheartening to see LI being so non transparent about what is the matter with LI? Why has LI stopped reporting new stories? Where is LI? Back in the good old days, such a story would have 200 comments. Where is Kian? LI owes its loyal viewers to let us know what is wrong, Please publish this. Don't censor. That is not what LI used to be.
Sir, it has been clarified multiple times why LI has stopped reporting, which is the new intermediaries legislation that the BJP government has introduced. LI/Kian can’t help it if you don’t keep up.
Yaar it’s been mentioned multiple times that it’s due to digital media rules. Stop clogging up threads with this crap.
Sigh.... Miss the good ol' days of juicy gossip hot off the press, and 500 comments... Kian, you should restructure the LI business model and find a way to ring fence LI from the media laws and all...
a lot more partners have quit azb. somehow it doesnt get reporteed on B&B or LI. jitendar tanikela another partner has also quit. ananya sharma partner has likely quit. rinki too.
It's chaos within AZB and everyone's looking at everyone else suspiciously because the rumours coming from the top are so wild and varied. Does any other insider a little higher up the ladder than me know what's going on?!
The (..) factor is going to hit Trilegal hard. Super toxic ce(...) who has been responsible for all politics and exits in the team. Pity the fund boys who escaped from AZB to Trilegal only to get caught up by same shenanigans again.
Hope some insider or an ex-AZB writes a blog like the one for Nishith Desai. That is the only way to know the true story. BB will never publish the gory details.
One of the junior partner has single handedly liberated many many associates from this law firm world… Chalo Ghar wapsi will start and juniors at Corporate park started smiling again …. God save the ones at business park ….
Associates at AZB sending their regards to friends in Trilegal… couple of partners have been sent on strict no return policy…
Can LI please answer why has LI become so slow in the past few months. Before, comments used to moderated in 1 or 2 hours. Why does it take days now? What is the issue? What has gone wrong with LI? Where is Kian? We want answers? Don't censor this.
All juniors preferred to stay back despite hefty promises of bonuses. SKB walking out without a single associate of Mumbai office. Wonder what team building he will do at Tri when he couldn't do one in so many years at AZB! Another senior partner preferred to open a clothes venture rather than going to Tri.
Yea. And that is because azb offers so much more than Trilegal? Bruhhahaha
Every partner and counsel who worked with SKB for years is leaving with him. That shows loyalty and maybe he has done right by them. Juniors who were first years and a few slightly more senior ones were induced to stay back by no less than the MP and surprisingly the clothing ventures partner who has played some role in the best interests of her new business. So all of the seniors shifting with SKB must say something no?
In the war between culture and business, the latter has triumphed… When the whip is cracked, the poor associates will pack .… For the ones in business, it’s not a stroll in the park… Fasten your seat belts dear associates, this too shall pass….
Poor juniors don't know what they are in for. Two days of wining and dining in SKB's absence helped retain them but it's coming out of their bonuses for sure. 😊

A few more AZB equity partner exits on the cards a big birdie tells me. Remember, you read it here first.
Bump! How is their team now in Trilegal. Work wise, culture wise? Would appreciate any leads.
The team in trilegal funds Mumbai seems to have a lot of partners. Reviews?
Could someone please tell me about the work culture and work-life balance in his team?
