Not really. Not every student studying at JGLS gets the benefit of their star faculty. With the massive batch size, they cannot. There are plenty of people in Jindal who are mediocre and below average, but who are shouldering a lot of teaching load. In addition, the pressure on the good faculty to publish or perish for ranking purposes means that a lot of them cannot or do not put in their best efforts towards classroom teaching. I am not saying that it is a flawed model, but from a student's perspective, it is not the best one either.
If Jindal decides to introduce need-blind scholarships then it will take over every law school in the next year itself. Massive they are. The kind of funding and resources they have is phenomenal. I guess, most of the people at top law schools would prefer to study at JGLS if the fee is not an issue at all. Those who can afford will continue to pay the current fees and those who can't be awarded a scholarship.
