BJP - The pro-middle class party that has made it increasingly difficult for the middle class to sustain their lives, be it interest rate crash, inflation, lack of tax breaks, erosion of subsidies and imposition of random surcharges and cess.
I would always advise joining the BJP as it is the party that is the most pro-middle class and has the biggest support among the middle class. So it is where NLU alumni will feel most at home.
BJP and Congress have given NLU grads the best opportunities so far:
BJP: - Vikramjit Banerjee (NLSIU): Advocate General of Nagaland, then ASG of India - Lokenath Chatterjee (NUJS): First and only NLU alum so far to get a Vidhan Sabha election ticket (West Bengal) - Raghav Awasthi (NALSAR): RSS spokesman
Congress: - Brajesh Kalappa (NLSIU): Spokesman and Legal Advisor (with MoS rank) in Karnataka government - Aditya Sondhi (NLSIU): Additional Advocate General, Karnataka - Jaiveer Shergill (NUJS): Spokesman - Mohammed Khan (NUJS): Spokesman and Additional Advocate General, Chattisgarh - Avani Bansal (HNLU): Secretary, Professionals Congress
