Move aside Emmys, Grammys and EGOT-aspirants. Indian lawyer awards season is upon us and it is a litany of paid nonsense fooling nobody but first year law students into thinking the top 100 lawyers in India did anything other than due diligence readouts and that “legal influencers” are a real thing.
To educate and inform, please use this thread to expose how much each award costs. The next time you see a beaming partner bestowed with endless platitudes on LinkedIn, you will know exactly how much they paid to call themselves a fantastic lawyer.

This was around 3 years back. I was practicing trade law and was approached by someone to have myself nominated for best upcoming lawyer in IP law. I have NEVER practiced IP law in my whole career. So you can imagine how bogus all of this is.
