How is the overall firm culture at Poovayya and Co ?? Haven't heard much criticism from anybody comparitively to Khaitan's, AZB, or SAM or CAM's culture.
That is his personal office not the firms office. He doesn’t run the firm anymore
A batchmate of mine interned there. You get to learn a lot and even interns are given full freedom to work on cases without interference and file petitions. It's an excellent place to learn. But the atmosphere is super stressful and most of the lawyers there are exhausted most of the time. They're either at court or at the office and work late into night. But I think that's most of the places. Their freshers pay is around 6LPA but after 4-5 years your salary matches T-2 law firm salaries.
Great place to work at. Unless you join Mr. Poovayya's chamber, your interaction with him will be limited. Manu Kulkarni is an excellent boss, and is one of the finest counsel you can work with in Bengaluru, or anywhere in India.
Hey, are the internships only offered in Banglore and Delhi? The site says they have their office in Mumbai as well though
