55k people appear for CLAT compared to around 6 Lac who sit for prelims and 10-13 Lac who register for UPSC.
Both have difficult interview/personality tests but UPSC one is comparatively more difficult as one needs to be a generalist not a specialist which is harder according to me.

Their are number of advocates who were selected in upsc but resigned and joined Bar.
like if he is looking only for money then definitely in no doubt he will choose T1 Law firm because what they will earn in their initial year, it will take very much time to earn (or might not) it's bear about being as an IAS/IPS. There are number of examples like that who were selected for IAS/IPS but resigned & joined Bar.
Other hand if it's their dream job then might he choose T1 Law firm.
