Indus (other than Bangalore) is a lateral heavy firm and when such lateral partners find better opportunity, they leave β Indus has failed to inculcate a βone-nessβ among the lateral partners due to various factors. Other than in Bangalore, most laterals do not get much in way of referrals from the firm, and also they all chuffed at having the founder as bosses β who want control/have a say over everything but donβt add much value to the practices of most lateral partners. Also, the disparity between revenue of Bangalore and other offices are huge β not sure if that is a contributing factor for laterals from other offices moving out.
However, it is a good place to be as a SA/PA (especially in bangalore) β you will do more client facing work than you peers in Tier 1, albeit at a lower pay.
Every now and then, I've been seeing partners leaving IndusLaw along with the whole team and joining other firms. Is there something horribly wrong at IndusLaw? Why is everyone leaving?
