Is it possible to land a job at a tier 1 or tier 2 firm as a fresher if I couldnt land a job through campus recruitment? Can I directly contact the HR and ask about vacancies? Are their vacancies year around at these firms? I am looking to work in dispute resolution or insolvency and I am from a private university which is well known but not as prestigious as some other private colleges like Symbi or Jindal. What are my chances if I have a strong CV with numerous publications and extensive work experience as an intern?
Lots of law firms recruit their own interns. JSA recruits mostly from the intern pool only. Apply aggressively and follow up.
Difficult for a fresher. Try getting in some smaller firm and then switching to Tier 1 firm after a year.
Hello,

Hit the hr up, speak to partners. Worked out for me.
2021 batch fresher-non nlu-works at a tier 1.

Wish you the best
