That's not entirely accurate. Your success depends a lot on which university you come from. Otherwise the process would have seen many law grads from newer NLUs or non NLUs making it every year.

Over time, students of these colleges have secured these schemes on their own accord- YES there is absolutely no relation to the college, admin, recruitment committee etc. Students apply on their own through the open application procedure.

NLS students, even in their childhood, raise both of their parents. NLS won the Oxford Price moot but gave it up for NLUD because it was not worth it. If an NLS student’s phone rings while he is mooting, the moot is paused till the call is over. If an NLS student misquotes an article of the constitution of india in an exam, the constitution is amended. SAM and CAM were separated because NLS kids found their jobs too monotonous. Once an NLS kid was asked by his mother to bring a fan from Khaitan company, he returned with a job offer. NLS was actually constructed in 1456 BC but it was destroyed by Mughals only for it to be built later. You should've checked LinkedIn before commenting this. Those are not some Forage Certificate Courses but actual Vac Schemes offered by Links. But you wouldn't believe it right? Because hum toh lower NLU ke hain toh how dare Linklaters give Vac Schemes to GNLU students instead of Harvard of the East? I would say big loss for Linklaters. Waise bhi NLS students don't run behind Corp jobs as they are busy solving the Goldbach Conjecture, controlling the Illuminati to move towards a new world order and helping scientists in making time travel possible. Last I heard, marriage among the NLSIU community would be responsible for the evolution of mankind. Chota baat hai foreign law firms aapke liye sir. Jaane dijiye.
You do know that Links takes 1-2 students from NLS, NALSAR, NUJS, NLUJ, NLIU, GNLU for vacation schemes every year right? These are not through contacts, they're through the colleges' respective recruitment committees or internship coordination committees.
Recently I saw two GNLU kids from a batch of 23 interning at Linklaters? Also, I heard that one other student has received a vacation scheme. How are they landing Linklater's soo easily? Do they take on the basis of contacts?
