I was not aware that Gujarat has 85% reservation for locals in private sector factories.
What's wrong with propositional representation? If humans are equal, they will yield equal results in the long term, right?
Huh? Not really. Humans are equal in terms of the rights that they have. Not in terms of their innate abilities.
The "equality of outcomes" paradigm has been disproved by critical thinkers. That is really not the way people are supposed to be.
Homophobia and casteism Cleverly hidden behind the name Marx, good one
Reservations is a right. It flows from the political agreement memorialised via the Poona Pact. The covenant of reservation is integral to the binds of the Constitution.
A right that flows from the State. Not private players.
Reservation is NOT a right. It is a prerogative of the State to give reservation to backward castes and classes. Political agreement memorialization has to be reified in the Constitution to be binding. What covenant?
But don't most of these companies have diversity hires in most of the Western world?

PS: Not taking sides, just furthering the debate.
