Both these are leaks about tax haven / secrecy jurisdictions and some of the names are common between these two leaks. However some differences come to mind:
1. Pandora is a much bigger leak - running into terabytes, whereas Desai is much smaller (gigabytes) 2. Pandora is international collaboration headed by ICIJ, whereas Desai is by a national daily Pioneer 3. Pandora papers are from law firms, trust providers etc from various tax havens, whereas Desai is a desi law firm 4. Pandora names individuals, whereas Desai has individuals, corporates, funds etc. 5. Pandora reveals possibly secret assets hidden in various secrecy jurisdictions, whereas Desai alleges tax evasion in India through tax havens 6. Pandora is silent on who leaked, whereas Desai has named the whistleblowers 7. Indian government has announced that Pandora would be probed, whereas there is no word on Advocate Prashant Bhushan's complaints in Desai Papers.
Some of those who have been named in the Pandora Papers have issued public statements or responded to Indian Express queries, whereas no such statement from those named in the Desai Files. Only one statement from Nishith Desai himself.
