Some months, "it's quarter end - so lots of work" and some months they'll tell you "it's beginning of the quarter - so lots of work" - that takes away 8 out of 12 months.
In May, they'll tell you "it's first quarter of the year, hence lots of work"
In August they'll tell you "it's August, usually there's too much work"
In November they'll tell you "Lots of work before people break for December"
In February they'll tell you "It's a short month, plus budget month"
And on and on, it never ends. Count your blessings, my friend, if you have no work. May be they just forgot about you in WFH.
