(1) Agar disclose kia hai and legally complaint tareeke se invest kia hai (annual caps, filings, declarations, etc.), then its ok to have off-shore assets.
(2) Agar foreign earned income se kia hai, then too its ok to have off-shore assets.
Merely being named in this list has no legal relevance..as long as necessary disclosures have been made to the authorities. For eg, even the transaction involving Tony Blair and his wife seems legally sound, but they are still named in this leak.
Names so far: Anil Ambani, Rajiv Gandhi's close friend and Congress leader Satish Sharma, Sachin, Nirav Modi's sister, Jackie Shroff, Cox and Kings owner....
