A girl from GNLU (Nirja Shah) who is already in the IPS failed the mains this year. Her tweet went viral and many news outlets did a story on it. Shows the unpredictability of the exam. I normally feel repeaters who already have a cadre should not be allowed to give the exam again. A waste of a seat and taxpayers money too. But I do have a lot of sympathy for her, as she is in the police (the roughest and most corrupt of the services) and also WB police (▮▮▮). Services lile IAS and IPS are better for a highly educated and brilliant person from a good family.
