Then there is this person - moving to the city of great food, with friends families, an undoubted work life balance, and what he done for a long long time, and has answered all those questions, having done it all. Now lets ask the questions again.
Bengal is an Industrial wasteland. Youngsters from Bengal start businesses in Bangalore and Mumbai but not in Bengal. It's a dangerous place to do business. (past 50 years history) it's the worst place to start a company unless you want to pay ransom and bribe on a daily bases.
The best Bengali entrepreneurs are in Bangalore and Mumbai. Companies (Biggies) which were in Kolkata either shifted to Mumbai or became bankrupt.
Even lefties on legally India would agree here I guess.
I don't know who this Mr. Majumder is; but Bengal is definitely not the place which has a thriving legal market. You want to be there where deals are happening.
Chennai, Hyderabad, Banglore, Mumbai Makes sense.
