Also, how far it works when it comes to securing internship at tier I/tier II firms, has anyone got internship opportunity by cold emailing Partner or any senior member of law firm?

Could you please share some tips as to how one should draft the cover letter then? Is writing first name okay?
DO NOT send the boilerplate email en masse. You will end up in spam. Research and make you've some idea who you're addressing, and customise your cold email.
