think about what would happen if the law was different, then try to find a jurisdiction where the law is different or was different and then think as to why did the law become as it is, who are affected by the law and were they consulted, what is the impact of the law, how do we calculate the impact. Empirical research is scarce in India, anything to do with empirical research will be quite novel.
How do you find something to write about when it feels like every angle of the issue has already been explored?
