Hi,

Did an internship with LKS and ELP. You do some interesting and happening work. But again, a CA with a law degree is valued higher than a law graduate in these firms. Plus, the pay is weighed just like a CA's work. For the amount of work you do, the pay is not justified in my opinion. If these two points don't matter, you should consider interning and figuring it out.
Did an elective on GST and it seemed pretty interesting. Was considering an internship around it, perhaps a career in due course (too soon to say). Would love to know what work in the indirect tax vertical of a corp firm looks like: what kind of work does it involve? (tax litigation or transactional assistance?) How hectic is a day? How's the experience generally? Do you need to be a pseudo-CA to be able to manage it? etc, etc..
