LI readers are 18 year old college students who know nothing about the world but think they know everything after a few hours of sociology lectures in first year. It's pointless trying to have a logical discussion on this website.
Lol for real? In this thread you’re telling me to be nuanced? It was clearly satire ya. Chill a little.
You are such a child. The logical opposition to studying Marx is reading Opindia and Manusmriti? Reading Marx is a necessity, but have some nuance in your life.

Our Eco teacher did, at least Chicago. But I heard that he's left the university since, so dunno about now.
Never knew that the examples that you cited are instances of legislations fostering gender equality! One learns something extraordinary in this comments thread everyday.
The voting pattern on this thread suggests that 70% of LI readers are students, 30% are working professionals. Kian, you have got a readership survey done without spending any money!

What? If NLU social science education is "woke" by any measure, I'll gladly eat my dog. I know what woke is. NLU education is seriously not it.
Well then we know that atleast one law graduate on this thread is unemployed.
Do any NLUs teach Austrian School or Chicago School economics?
Yes, boomers and millennials are the most open-minded people living. That's why most of the wars, regressive laws, and other human rights atrocities took place on their watch.
Arre neo-liberal bhaisaab, there is a world apart from finance and positive law.
Not economics, at least when properly taught. I learnt more in my two economics courses than in the remaining ones put together.
The comments here are proof of how shallow Gen Z snowflakes are. Boomers and millennials may have their differences but at least they are open to other views, unlike Gen Z. This country is doomed
Is Kian Ganz of German origin? If fascism has been replaced by communism instead of capitalism, a "class enemy" like Kian would have been imprisoned by the Stasi in East Germany. There would be no LI. Just saying.
Any good institution has to provide a well-rounded education, one that teaches you without bias about all ideologies, so that you can make an informed choice as to what yours is and why. As simple as that.
Hope you learn someday that Marx had little to do with Communism!
Because it never hurts to have diversity of thought and ideas explored even if seemingly redundant. Religious studies is also a course.
I have a better question: Why do NLUs teach sociology? Completely pointless and no relation with legal practice. Better to teach an additional semester of CPC or grounding in a subject like finance.
As of writing I see 6 likes and 20 dislikes on this post. So we know 20 law students and 6 law graduates have read this. IFYKWIM
The biggest argument against capitalism, the grand alternative, is that it produced you.
