As a side note, comment 2 was originally marked trollish since statements like "NLU grads are the cream" are a little trollish, elitist and at the end of the day, also nonsense... :)
It's practically the same faculty teaching the new course... As far as the available info on NLU-N's website shows, the subject break-downs per semester for normal BALLB and this one are different, but it's going to be the same faculty for both. So it's more like a 5 year coaching class for judiciary.
Why bother about Corporate Internships which leads to a 12 hour a day job while you can just study there and without any effort get into Judiciary (where you can leave office at 4pm)?
- You need to clear the judicial service exam first in order to be a judge. It is a difficult exam and there are reservations etc. Plus, language barriers in certain states, including Maharashtra.
- NLU grads are the cream and should fill in vacancies at the SC and HC, not district court. But a cabal keeps them out.
So this course is USELESS and a SHAM. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
As per NLUN, students can opt for jobs if they want to, but the question is: do they provide sufficient flexibility to intern like traditional BA/LLB?
I asking, because Nagpur is better than the NLUs in which I'm getting in.
Also, I want to litigate, but mood ka kya... it can change anytime within half a decade.
