Sad - No. A survey carried out in early 2021 shows that most of the Afghans want Sharia law and were ok with the idea of a Taliban ruled state. You would wonder a terrorist organization taking over an entire country should involve 100000s of homicides and blood. But that didn't happen. The army, the citizens, everyone was ok with Taliban and hence no resistance. It's not like an outside power captured them, it is their own people.
W.R.T. - Blaming Biden, I think it is silly. He is responsible for his own country and soldiers. The Americans have always wanted their sons back home. Why should Biden do the dirty work in Afghanistan?
Also, it feels like the obvious half of the society is shying away from the real problem, and blaming the whole thing on Biden is a just a way of turning away from the truth.
You must have seen tweets of "Save Afghanistan" or "Save the women of Afghanistan". But no1 would ask, who are we saving them from?

The original survey findings are more nuanced that this comment suggests, and even if a majority would actually 'vote' for the Taliban in a free election, that would still result in a tyranny of a majority and a lot of people to be sad for who do not want this.
Have also not seen any accounts that the reality of the Taliban takeover was about police or military being 'ok' with the Taliban takeover, but it seemed more a matter of insufficient coordination, infrastructure support and too little motivation of individuals to risk your life to fight hopelessly for a broken and corrupt existing system.

There is a massive difference between Sangh Parivar and Taliban. In fact, there is hardly any similarity except for both being a union of individuals having a particular ideology - but that is case for all political parties.
Use of violence and denial of rights are the two primary characteristics of Taliban, both of which are far from true for RSS.

This is highly misleading and derogatory. Muslims from Afghanistan want to settle in India which is a Hindu minority and presently being governed by Bharatiya Janta Party whose ideological parent is the Sangh Parivar. Sangh's favorite leader / posterboy is Nitin Gadkari who is inarguably one of the favorite leaders across partylines. Neither the 21st Century BJP nor the RSS have done anything which even remotely prevents people from practicing their religion. In fact, special rights and protection is given to those who practice a religion other than Hinduism. As opposed to Taliban whose first step was to demolish all idols everywhere since it does not gel well with their belief.

Since focal point is Hinduism and Islam - both are extremely different. I am sorry, but your comment reeks of ignorance. If I start by telling you the differences between both the religions, I might just end up writing a 6k word essay. Just for starters, the Sharia which Taliban want to be imposed has the essential element of Proselytisation (which is alien to Hindu Mythology and has been enabled solely on account of A. 25 of Constitution). While women need permission to do things under Sharia, not only are women prayed to, women have been given representation in different high posts by your 'Sanghi Sarkar' at an unprecedented level (be it the Cabinet, or the Judiciary). Crime against women is there; it is unfortunate and condemnable, but that is not the sole metric to treat the role and position of women. It has unfortunately been in existence since a long time in India and many other places, but has nothing to do with religion - as opposed to Sharia which makes a woman a commodity - no right to work or even move without the permission of her 'guardian'. It is high time that State Governments amp up their policing and ensure safety at all times.
