I have no idea which books to read for company law, joint ventures, M&A, PE,VC etc. Any recommendations would help. Specific chapters would do even more good.
Some recommendations about FEMA and SEBI laws would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!
any and every annual digest by Taxmann will suffice. Thats what law firms rely on atleast.
Join a firm. M&A in India is pretty vanilla and there's much to read or understand about. You'll learn the best on the job. Other places with more mature markets have crazy structured m&as which is not the case in India.
not getting entry into any firm. so dont know how to kickstart my career. litigating person here
even Taxmann updates (SEBI and Commercial Law ones) are more than enough at the A0-A3 level post which more nuanced pieces on MoneyControl, VCCircle and Thomas Reuters can be subscribed to.
