What are some skills that I should develop if I'm placed at a law firm and if I have sufficient time to learn from scratch.
What will make me stand out from my peers or at least at par with them?
It would be great if seniors can elaborate a bit on this.
Thanks in advance !
Id asked this question earlier with similar keywords (between November and may I think). It had some great responses so do check that out.
Sorry boss, too lazy to search and find. But please do post the link here in case you find it.
Seasoned law firmer here.

Learn to understand that you're expected to be average.

The exceptional who stand out already know who they are. They will leave in 1 or 2 years.

Your knowledge, skill, attitude, servitude, etc is expected to be average.
Nothing special required. You will be reminded everyday.
Law Sikho - M & A course. You will finish the deal before the partner gets the business. Heavily recommended for students with jobs.
OP here

I can't afford it plus I wouldn't want to associate myself with such a place after whatever happened last year in that webinar.
