Just saw a post on LinkedIn about a webinar by AZB which is being conducted by a senior partner of AZB and an of counsel at AZB. So, I guess AZB also has it.
Consultant is when they want to hire you but don't know what level of experience to designate you, so they'll keep you as a 'Consultant' and at the end of FY, basis your assessment they'll give you a proper designation (SA1/A3/A2/etc)
Thanks. What's the Consultant designation at CAM? I see some partners also having moved to that role?
Karanjawala does have that, but you would have to be either a senior lawyer, or in good terms with the partners.
karanjawala might. I may be incorrect on this. jsa, jmp are known to engage off counsels for their litigation work. so you can try boutique lit firms who may have clients requiring transactional/advisory work.
Are there any lawfirms which have off counsel arrangements for corporate and M&A work? Basically, you work independently and on transaction basis work with firms. Thanks.
