This is not true; there is a TMT team in Delhi that does a lot of transactional work across the board. It's a good team with a variety of work. Usual caveats about B&P still apply.
Can you tell which office was this? Does the Delhi office handle some transactional work besides litigation?

the internship program is quite intensive and good. In fact AZB CAM and SAM end up taking all those who leave Bharucha because they are so well trained.
seeing all the negative reviews, I declined B&P internship offer since I am in my final year and want to take a shot at the firm where getting PPO matters. I did receive an undertone reply but it's okay who the hell cares about it.

I don't think i would regret it.

Bharucha & Partners does not care about its associates at all. I have heard of shady practices, including stealing notice pay from associates and bonuses as well (strategically firing people right before bonus payout).
When I joined it all seemed very rosy and great. The Delhi office really gives you this picture of a "family" rather than an office. But that is far from the truth. The firm has a really ugly side to it.
Joined as a fresher a few years ago. All the people I had joined with left within 3-6 months. Bombay partners are known for how badly they treat their associates.
You may be better off staying unemployed than taking up a B&P associate position
