Everyone should learn Excel / LibreOffice Calc / Google Sheets at least once, so they stop not afraid of spreadsheets and realise it's not very horrible or complicated and sometimes even quite useful... πŸ˜„

Transactional lawyers use it for requisition lists for DDs mainly.
You'll be ok even if you don't learn excel. Just on account of he fact that most lawyers you'll be working with are uncomfortable with excel.
If you work in Deloitte kpmg etc please learn. They use excel and ppt just to harass us poor lawyers. Even if we send something in word, some keeda in their body has to convert that into excel!! Including our DD requisition lists! πŸ₯΅
