I suffered at the firm for about a year, before finally taking the call to move out.
Many freshers join the firm in the hope that they would get to learn arbitration and litigation but the reality slaps them hard when all that they are required to do is printing, photocopy and making list of dates.
Where did I go wrong in creating this species!
The fact that they will have to take flights and trains in this situation to come back is appalling and unnecessary.
The work from home pattern is actually benefitting the firm more. Nothing in any manner whatsoever is being affected and work has been going on in full swing.
To the point of actually being so toxic that people are being called up at literally midnight to work with no regard for oneβs health and personal space.
The management is messed up and time lines are unrealistic.
People may be unwell or may not have slept in 2 days but the pressure is never taken off them.
The seniors in the firm believe in staying up all night and thatβs what slowly and steadily everyoneβs being wired to do.
There is no work life balance.
All top tier firms have smoothly transformed into the WFH mode till the situation is safe but donβt know why Singh and Associates is so eager.
If someone from the firm is reading this- please ensure work life balance for your employees and let them get some sleep and a life.
