If you are looking for a job in a law firm it doesnβt matter much. They prefer you to know the work and the laws well of the specific team and practice area.
However, for any MNC under the compliance team it may help.

SHOULD I STOP? IT'S TAKING/EATING A LOT OF TIME??
My apologies - I mixed up on the FMCG company with another MNC from the same industry.

In inhouse legal teams - Yes
CS is useful if you want to go in-house to some very small companies in a small town. It's not useful for a law firm career.
